Hi, im new to raising silkies and i have a chick whose leg seems hurt. It is only 4 days old.Her left leg sprawls out and she doesnt run like the others. I put the bandaid brace like yours on her. Any tips on how long to leave it on? Thankyou very much for any time taken to reply to me. Thankyou Phil

Hatched our first babies with help from your site and some others. Thank you!

Thank you for letting us see your brooders for ideas. Our babies are doing great. We did a plastic tote just about exactly like yours. Love seeing the babies all sprawled out sleeping. Andrew had to wake them cause he didn't believe me that they were just sleeping. It was cute. The ducklings are messy and go thru so much water just like you said but are a hoot.

Hmmm i'm a newbie at this and you've educated me on different quails, i did not know that bobwhites, curtunix, and chukers were gamebirds, cause i have some. Also what class would the English white quail be. button or game? I have two males and i need a female.

Thank you for such an informative site. I was initially going to buy a trio of quail, but will now opt for a pair, following your advice.

Great website! I love all your photos! Am also into raising button quail, chickens and rabbits (as a hobby)- but on a much smaller scale!
